Approval of Research Projects

In COP:TRIN, the process for development and Steering Comittee approval of new research projects is as follows

  1. An research project proposal is sent to the organizer of a Steering Comittee meeting.

  2. The idea will be discussed at the Steering Comitte meeting. This proces will often improve projects.

  3. The proposer(s) will then make the changes agreed upon at the Steering Comittee meeting. A revised project protocol is then forwarded to the COP:TRIN members who wish to join the project. At this point, joining members are aware of the project, and formally approves within e.g. 7-14 days.

  4. The protocol will be sent to foundations, relevant authorities (e.g. Research Ethics Committee and The Danish Medicines Agency) and the regional lawyers.

  5. When the necessary approvals and realistic funding is achieved, the project can be initatied and start recruiting.
